10 Maria and Ricardo´s Original Whole Wheat Tortillas
16 oz lean ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1 Tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt, or to taste
2 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup cotija cheese, or queso fresco, crumbled
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 avocado, diced
1 cup pico de gallo, or salsa
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped

Preheat your oven to 415°F (213°C).

Lay out your Maria and Ricardo´s Original Whole Wheat Tortillas on a baking sheet and spray both sides with cooking oil.

Place the tortillas in the preheated oven and bake for 4 minutes. Then, flip them over and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until they become crispy and turn golden brown.

While the tortillas are baking, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks. Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, and taco seasoning for delicious flavor.

Add the diced onion to the skillet and continue cooking until the onion becomes translucent and the beef is fully cooked.

Now it's time to assemble your tostadas. Start by adding the seasoned ground beef mixture.

Add fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, slices of creamy avocado, and a generous spoonful of pico de gallo or salsa to each tostada.
